Youth Unemployment

This is the measured unemployment rate (the proportion of the economically active population who are unemployed) for all 16–24-year-olds.

Youth unemployment rates can vary greatly between countries. Some countries that have historically had very high youth unemployment rates include Greece, Spain, Italy, and South Africa. However, youth unemployment rates can also be high in developing countries, such as those in the Middle East and North Africa.
