Business Insider does luxury and the circular economy very well - in this case, the latter is covered, with the waste water from tofu manufacture being converted into biogas to provide fuel for local homes.
Tofu is remarkably water-intensive, requiring 10 times the amount of water compared to soya beans, and the waste water pollutes local water courses. As a result, communities have had to adapt to this, and use the smelly by-product of tofu manufacture to produce biogas.
