This short revision video looks at the changing pattern of global exports of clothing since 1980. China dominates world export sales with a 38% share in 2015 but countries such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey, Indonesia and Cambodia have a growing and in some case a significant global share, in part the result of high levels of inward FDI.
