You Tube Music takes on Spotify and Apple
22nd May 2018
Google is revamping their You Tube music service to take on Spotify. 85% of You Tube users listen to music for free so can they successfully get people to pay for a music streaming subscription service?
Apple Music has 40 million people signed up and Spotify 75 million users. Will we pay You Tube to listen to music? What can You Tube offer than others provide especially as You Tube is not the first mover into the sector? Free is a hard default to escape from!
