Apprentice redundancy numbers rise: 'I was devastated'

Information provided by the Freedom of Information Act has found that a number of people have been made redundant from apprenticeship schemes as a result of coronavirus.

"Between March and July, 1,033 people in England were withdrawn from apprenticeship programmes because they had been made redundant" and those aged under-19 have been particularly badly affected.

This article could be used for the Work, Poverty and Welfare unit and Education.
