NHS coronavirus bereavement scheme extended to low-paid workers

A scheme to help relatives of family members that have died from Covid-19, has been extended to include low-paid workers.
The scheme at first excluded cleaners, porters and social care workers. However, after criticism from Labour and the GMB trade union, these individuals have now been included.
This article could be used for the Health unit, and Work, Poverty and Welfare.
