It's often said that economists know the price of everything and the value of nothing. So watching this clip might confirm you in that view. However, if you're able to get over that concern, you'll find this a fascinating examination of the economics of having children.

What is the cost? What are the 'benefits'? And what are the economic problems that arise as a result of children, notably with regard to childcare and the macroeconomic issues that arise at a time when fertility rates are declining across the developed world?
