Brexit and Invisible Barriers to Trade

This is a very astute Larry Elliott piece highlighting the complexities of Brexit negotiations, and the fact that much of the press coverage of the issue has somewhat missed the point.
And he's right: the most pernicious forms of trade barrier often aren't the visible ones, but the invisible: technical standards, tax, intellectual property rights, the departure of the UK from European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom).
I'm not sure whether the Remainers could have fitted all of this on the side of the bus, but perhaps they might have tried.
