Some people believe that humans have not reached the 'final stage of evolution’, and as technology pervades through all areas of life, the next step logically will be where humans become part-machine.

The following video explores the of idea of transhumanism. With the aid of technology could the humans of the future be smarter and just better? And what would this world look like? A utopia? Or something darker and dystopian?

The video could provide an interesting discussion and link between modernism and postmodernism.
