#TradWife
4th February 2020
This story was picked up on our Facebook page a couple of weeks ago about traditional housewives.
This video from BBC Stories follows a woman who has created a YouTube channel and website sharing her ideas on things such as etiquette and Britishness.
There could be some interesting discussions between the values of women who wish to be traditional housewives through the lens of some of the major theories within Sociology: New Right, Functionalism, Marxism and Feminism.
The video could be used for Families and Households (changing patterns of marriage..., demographic trends in the UK), as well as Theory and Methods (feminism).
