Netflix: Why Women Are Paid Less

Sarah Best

19th June 2020

Following on from the posting of another Netflix documentary last week about the racial pay gap, here is another related to why women are paid less.

This film is available on Netflix, and also on YouTube (in partnership with Vox). The short documentary could be used for Theory and Methods (feminism), Work, Poverty and Welfare (the distribution of poverty, wealth and income between different social groups), and Families and Households (gender roles, domestic labour and power relationships within the family in contemporary society).
