India's huge farmer protests, explained

This video from Vox explores some of the reasons behind the farmer protests taking place in India.

Agricultural workers make up around 50% of the workforce in India and the current Prime Minister Modi wishes to make changes to how the market operates, this has caused concern amongst farmers as they might lose certain protections for their goods.

This video could be used for the Global Development unit.
