The following advert produced by Iceland and Greenpeace has not been approved to be shown on TV by Clearcast.
According to Clearcast, an organisation that monitors whether adverts meet certain standards outlined by the law, deemed the advert 'political’. The advert aims to highlight the palm oil trade and the impact that this has on the environment and animals.
The advert can be found on Youtube and has since gone viral.
This article and the advert could be used within The Media unit as well as Global Development.
