The captain rescuing migrants in the Mediterranean during the Covid-19 pandemic

This short film from The Guardian follows a boat patrol that is setting out to rescue people attempting to cross the Mediterranean sea to reach mainland Europe.

This video could be used for the Global Development unit (development, underdevelopment and global inequality).

It does contain some real footage of rescues and images/material that some people may find distressing.
