Is the UK crisp industry heading for a Brexit crunch?
24th December 2018
Ed Conway from Sky News visits Kettles crisps (owned by Campbell Soup Company) to find out more about the UK's love affair with the crisp and concerns that some production may move overseas if there is a disorderly "no-deal" Brexit. Lots of micro and macroeconomics in the video report including the importance of economies of scale in production and also the long-term relationship that Kettles has with their farmers back down the supply chain.
Campbell bought the Kettle chips maker for $4.9 billion in December 2017
