Finland aims for carbon neutrality by 2035

Finland has pledged to be carbon-neutral by 2035 - this is a target twice as fast as the UK government target.
Sanna Marin leads a coalition of five political parties who came together after what was billed the "climate change" election in 2019. Economic policies include investment in renewables, such as wind and solar power, energy tax reforms, extra investment in railways and conservation projects.
