EU agrees biggest free trade deal with Japan

Two of the largest players in adopting bilateral trade deals - the EU and Japan - have concluded another trade deal which is expected to liberalise almost all trade between the two. This was announced on the same day that the UK reached initial agreement with the EU on the first stage of the Brexit negotiations.
According to a report in the Financial Times, the agreement, which took 4 years to negotiate, covers 600 million people and accounts for approximately 30% of global GDP.
