Here is a snapshot of businesses that have challenged the existing / established business models in their chosen markets / segments. I am sure we can add to the list and also debate the extent to which these businesses are truly disruptive! To what extent have lower barriers to entry brought about by technological advances helped to catalyse this era of disruption?
