Franchising: Subway is the Global Leader for Outlets, But Not Sales...

A fabulous video here from the CNBC team exploring the growth and performance of Subway - now the worlds largest franchise operator with almost 45,000 outlets worldwide.
Compared with other global fast food franchises like Starbucks & McDonald's, opening a Subway has relatively low start-up costs and investment.
However, as the video explains, Subway lags behind its fast-food rivals when it comes to converting store visitors into revenues.
