Failure of the Troops to Teachers scheme

I was astonished to read this last week that just 28 ex-Servicemen had qualified to become teachers under the government's flagship "Troops to Teachers" scheme, established by every teacher's favourite politician, Michael Gove, who had hoped for 2000 graduates by now, after spending over £4m on the scheme.
