The death of George Floyd: will anything change?

All of the blog posts this week will be related to the protests and conversations taking place around the world as a result of the death of George Floyd in the United States. All of the blog posts could be used within a range of units in sociology, and may help students understand more about aspects such as institutional racism.
In this episode of 'Today in Focus', Paul Butler and Anushka Asthana discuss the protests that began in the USA after the death of George Floyd. They talk about the history of police killings of black Americans and whether the protests will lead to change in society.
