The following two articles are from The Guardian and highlight some of the differences between educational achievement between ethnic groups.

These articles could be used within the Education unit as part of a discussion about achievement in a school setting - consideration could be made about whether some of the issues discussed here are similar to what younger students face in schools.

Sarah Best

Sarah is a passionate full-time Head of Sociology and Psychology and has worked in a variety in schools in the UK, and she is currently working in a British international school. She is keen to develop and boost the profile of both subjects.
