The annual Global Teacher prize was recently won by Andria Zafriakou, a teacher working in London. The following article is an interview with Zafirakou and why her methods of teaching might not fit with some of the strategies advocated by the government.

The article also explores many issues related to the topic of Education such as: deprivation, mental health, cultural capital and egalitarianism.
