Facebook to pay $52m for failing to protect moderators from 'horrors' of graphic content

I imagine that when Facebook was first started there was probably little consideration about the impacts of extreme content on the moderators who work for the company, however Facebook has recently settled a court case where they have been required to pay $52 million as a result of not protecting the mental health of its workers.
A number of contractors who are employed as moderators have been diagnosed with mental health disorders, such as PTSD as they are regularly deal with extreme content such as child abuse.
