Sarah Best

3rd March 2020

Another podcast episode suggestion this time from Analysis about early years education.

In recent decades, the amount of money spent by governments on early years education has increased as compared to the mid-20th century where most young children would have spent their early years at home, usually raised by their mother.

This episode explores the how government spending policies that have focused on early years education and the impacts of this, particularly those in disadvantaged areas (deprivation, cultural capital). This is a useful podcast for Family and Households (childhood), as well as Education (role and function of the education system).
