Black youth unemployment 'hits 35% in pandemic'

Research collected by the Resolution Foundation, a policy think tank has found that the jobless rate for UK young black people has risen by more than a third over the past year.
The foundation added that young people from minority groups are not just losing their jobs, but also not able to find work in the first instance, and there are significant differences between ethnic groups.
This article could be used for the Work, Poverty and Welfare unit and Education, as well as a broader discussion about racism and relative deprivation.
