Airstrikes in Syria

Sarah Best

23rd April 2018

The following videos explore a range of views following the recent airstrikes in Syria by the US, UK and France.

The conflict in Syria that began in 2011 has been described as a catalyst in some ways for a new cold war between Russia and its allies against countries like the US and the UK. The war has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and displaced millions more.

This is a complicated issue and the video could be used within the Global Development unit when looking at globalisation, state crime and the relationship between different societies.
