Flipped classroom: collective responsibility
6th October 2022
Excellent resource from the Institute for Government
Given recent news about splits within the Cabinet in response to the recent "mini" budget (see my blog post from yesterday here), there is scope for a little student exercise on the topic.
The IoG have posted an updated iteration of their explainer on the topic, and this good be a good starting point for a "mini" homework.
The explainer is here. I would suggest that students write notes in their own words, including the data and examples provided, under the sub topic headings in the handout. In class, students can green pen anything they've missed out, any misconceptions overcome, etc. As an extension activity, students could research further under the IoG headings and add more depth of detail.
