This clip looks at why coconut oil is 12 times more expensive than ordinary oils.

In part, the price reflects the difficulties of harvesting coconut oil which is still labour intensive, as well as higher levels of demand because of its perceived health benefits. So, a lovely example of supply and demand in action.
