Mergers and increasing concentration in European universities

Nearly 100 mergers have taken place between European universities since 2000, and the number of so-called "super-cluster" universities is noticeably rising. This BBC article gives some useful facts and figures, and also outlines the advantages and disadvantages of these education mergers.
