LSE economics magazine available free to schools
30th June 2023
Every term, CentrePiece, the magazine of the LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance, features the latest policy-focused work from the world-renowned economics institute – and it is available free to schools.
CentrePiece brings together the latest CEP research in articles suitable for A-level students. Recent issues have included work on how Brexit has affected food prices in the UK, why housing has become so unaffordable and the interplay between immigration and economic growth.
CEP researchers are interested in questions about how to make our economy more productive in a fair, sustainable and inclusive way. Our work covers labour markets, trade, education, wellbeing, economic growth and economic geography and it is regularly covered by the BBC, Financial Times, Economist, Guardian and others.
The magazine and individual articles are available on our website as pdf documents. And as the centre has a commitment to promoting economics to young people from all backgrounds, we are also happy to send the printed CentrePiece magazine to schools free of charge.
The next issue will be out on 20 October 2023. To join the mailing list for free print copies, please email cep.centrepiece@lse.ac.uk
