Beyond the Bike - conflict minerals and smartphones

This week Stuart and Claire dipped into the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with their bikes. In particular, they were interested in exploring the start of the supply chain for raw materials that eventually end up inside our smartphones and other electronic gizmos, and the devastating impact that the hunt for these minerals has had on the DRC.
