Try this mini personal finance simulation activity to help deliver the CambridgeOCR Level 3 Award in Personal Finance.

The Forecourt is a free interactive simulation about a decision loads of young people face: how to pay for a car. Students put one car on the forecourt and compare four options, cash, a personal loan, hire purchase and PCP, looking past the monthly figure to two things that really matter, who owns the car and what happens when the payments end. It quietly demolishes the instinct that the lowest monthly payment is the best deal, then challenges students to match four drivers to the right choice.
