The Job Hopping Workforce in Tech Giants

How long does the average employee last at Uber?
In fact, employees spend an average of just 1.23 years at Uber which perhaps says something about the human relations culture at the business. By way of contrast, Founder and CEO Travis Kalanick lasted six and a half years before resigning / being forced out!
According to a survey of "Tech Titans" available here, Facebook manages to hang onto staff for just over two years. The average staffer at Google is gone before two years are out.
These high churn rates are perhaps a reflection of the fast-moving world of tech - many employees leave for rivals or decide to strike out on their own. The younger generation of software engineers and other graduates appear to be much more footloose.
