Vacancies and Redundancies (Labour Markets)

The number of unfilled job vacancies in the UK labour market remains at historically high levels. In part this is because businesses may be struggling to fill jobs on offer and because there is occupational and geographical immobility of labour. But it might also reflect the fact that businesses are continuing to hire people, the labour market looks quite resilient after the Brexit vote.
