The aim of this activity is to evaluate the strengths and limitations of a range of research methods when applied to a series of research contexts.

Ultimate Research Champion is delivered using an interactive PowerPoint file.
The activity uses a competitive approach by awarding points to the participants for their choice of research method.
Students choose a method they consider the most appropriate to research a range of contexts and points are awarded based upon reliability, validity, representativeness, practicality and ethics. The points accumulate over the 8 rounds of the game.
