Why get married?
9th November 2018
BBC Woman’s Hour recently released a dedicated episode to the question of ‘Why get married?’
The panel included a barrister and a sociologist, as well as stories from couples who decided to hold off getting married until they were in their 50’s.
This is an excellent podcast episode that could be used as homework piece or as an extension task for the Families and Households unit that has plenty of links to many concepts, such as: marriage rates, social policy and cohabitation.
