The following article discusses the concept of relative deprivation/poverty in relation to children.

According to the Office of National Statistics, the median income (a measure of central tendency to determine an average) for the UK was £507 a week in 2017-2018.

The article and discussion could be used within the Families and Households unit, and Work, Poverty and Welfare.
