The Social Dilemma
15th September 2020
A new film on Netflix explores the power of social media.
The Social Dilemma has been recently released and examines our growing dependence on social media platforms such as Facebook and Snapchat. The film contains interviews with a number of designers and engineers who work (or did work) at some of the biggest technology companies in the world.
The film could be used in The Media unit and links to some of the content shared in the post yesterday about surveillance.
Students will need a Netflix account. Here is a trailer of the film available on YouTube.
