Surveillance Society

The following article discusses the use of surveillance in businesses to monitor employees.
Those who support the use of surveillance believe that it allows companies to improve productivity and also help support workers by assessing how they are interacting. People who are less keen argue that devices such as radio-frequency identification (RFID) are intrusive and dehumanising.
The article could be used within the Crime and Deviance unit (Michel Foucault) when discussing crime prevention.
