Another useful documentary series (once again from the BBC!) this time looking at the British Empire.

Documentaries such as these may not be applicable for use in the classroom but they could be used as a homework exercise/extension activity to provide students with additional context about the influence of Britain in the past. Further discussion could involve about how these events may have led to changes back in the UK.
