Genocide in Myanmar

The following article from The Guardian follows the story at the international court of justice where the Aung San Suu Kyi has defended her country's and her own actions against claims of genocide in Myanmar.

The Myanmar army has been accused of killing and raping civilians, and burning homes of Rohingya Muslims in northern Myanmar.

This article could be used in the Global Development unit (role of international agencies), as well as Crime and Deviance (state crime).
