In a recent article I posted on the Sociology Blog, I wrote about the issue of gun violence in America following the shooting at a high school in Florida.

Despite this tragic event and incidents that have unfolded since, lawmakers have not been able to come to an agreement of how to reduce the rate of gun violence in the USA.

The following video explores some of the reasons why the USA has the highest gun homicide rates in the world, and also attempts to untangle why lawmakers are not able to reach a consensus about what should be done about this.

The video would be useful for use within Research Methods and in particular, Crime and Deviance.
