Getting all the Data

The Census is collected and published every 10 years in the UK. The data gathered shows the makeup (e.g., gender, ages, ethnicity, employment figures) for a particular population.

The following video focuses on the data collection process in the USA and highlights some of its problems; including the costs involved in gathering and interpreting the data and the subsequent validity of the results.

This is a useful resource that could be used within the Research Methods and Theory and Methods topics.
