Apprenticeships 'are not delivering social mobility'

The Social Mobility Commission had said that the apprenticeship system is failing some groups of young people.
They reported that individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who apply for apprenticeships has declined. Furthermore, those from more disadvantaged backgrounds are more likely to earn less than those from non-disadvantaged backgrounds.
This article could be used for the Education unit (social mobility, vocational education).
