Redundant male theory: a view prevalent amongst radical feminists who claim that society should be transformed along the basis of feminine values. Within such a society males would effectively become redundant with no real purpose. The redundant male theory exists at the margins of feminist thought and could in no way be presented as part of mainstream feminism.
