Labour movement

Labour movement is a term used to describe the Labour Party and its affiliated organisations (such as trade unions, the Fabian Society and the Co-operative Society). The Labour movement advocates a society based upon greater equality and the concept of social justice. In order to achieve these objectives, the labour movement believes that the needs of the many should take precedence over the needs of the few.
