I've recently read Anne-Marie Slaughter's book Unfinished Business , and I was interested by her comments on how feminism means different things to different women and people from different backgrounds and ethnicities. As well as reading the book, I recommend taking a look at this short 12 minute TED talk from Courtney Martin on how to interpret the loaded word "feminism".

Related to Ms Martin's TED talk is this one from Colin Stokes, on how movies often perpetuate a stereotypical view of what it means to be a man.

And, if you enjoyed those, then one of my favourite TV docu-series recently was Channel 4's excellent series All Man, with Grayson Perry. Well worth a watch.
