The Thomas Hardye School are looking to appoint a member of staff for a 12 month maternity cover, to teach A Level Psychology in the Sixth Form of a large and successful secondary school in Dorset. You would be teaching alongside one other psychology teacher covering 6 classes (3 in each each year group) and teaching just over 160 students. The course resources have been developed to enable a non specialist to come into the role. The successful applicant need not have taught the subject before but have experience in Key Stage 5 teaching and be motivated and willing to learn the subject content. The psychology hours would be part time, if looking for full time hours a willingness to potentially teach across years 9-13 in a second subject would be required. There is flexibility based on the applicants experience.
