The countries and regions most prone to shocks brought about by rising temperatures and extreme weather events need to build more resilience in order for sustainable development to be achieved. This short video from the Asian Development Bank sets the scene and looks at the importance of maintaining natural assets and finding smart ways of protecting fast-growing cities.
